Crasssy Little Life.

I have totally been neglecting this blog.
Furrr real, I have been terrible.
But that just means I have been busy.
So I guess i'll take it!
I can't decide if I want life to slow down just a little.
Or keep going at this pace.

Let me just give you a little taste of what's been going on.
  • Amazing STG weather= Lots of laying out!
  • Lots of Laying out = Little studying.
  • 2 more weeks of school. I can do this!
  • Summer just right around the corner.
  • Meeting lots of new people... loving that!
  • Work, work, work.
  • School,School,School.
  • Spending LOTS of time with my BFF which is always a plus.
  • Slowwwwly, but surely, figuring things out.
It's been busy.
Some days I literally forget to eat.
I have not been to bed before 2am for 2 weeks.
I have no idea how I have any energy.
I'm starting to realize you need energy...to study.
Bummer.
But you know what, It's Been Fun.
I'm doing things I want to do.
With people I want to do them with.
Accomplishing goals, figuring things out.
Moving onward and upward.
I am truly blessed.
And I realize that more every single day.

Happy Easter Errrbody!
Here is a little food for thought, that Always brightens my day. :]

"True Rebel"

Here at Dixie State College
there is a thing called  "D week"
and at the very end of all the weeks festitvities.
there is one particular festivity
"True Rebel"
Such an activity may be frowned upon.
but really, it's tradition peeps!
Here's the skinny...

Friday night there is the D dance.
everyone dances and has a great time..
yadda yadda.
at about 11:50 everyone gathers here at this fountain.

at this point the fountain is filled with bubbles,
and lots of shoeless people.
There are the people dressed all fancy from the dance.
there are the people that just come for this particular event.
There are the lovey dovey couples;
there are the boys holding "Fast pass to True Rebel" signs.
There are the random boys and girls standing around eyeing each other like pieces of meat.
yum.
And then when the clock strikes 12am.
All heck breaks loose,
or should I say, all lips are loose.
Kissing everywhere.
Maybe you know them, maybe you don't.
But none of that matters at 12am at the Dixie Fountain.
Because you just became...

A "True Dixie Rebel"
Which really doesn't even make sense seeing as they changed our mascott to "The Red Storm" ... But whatevs. I suppose "Rebel" sounds much better than "True Dixie Red Storm"

Oh Mr. Sandman.

Last night I had a dream about the boy.
I always look forward to those nights.
Sometimes I even will myself to dream that way..
or at least that is what I think.

But last nights dream,
I may or may not have been able to do without.

We had just been married
Insert Mom quote: "Where have I heard this before?"
and he had left and forgotten something.
Insert another Mom quote: "Like you?"
In my dream I thought "I need to call him"
at this point I woke up,
Reached over, grabbed my phone,
tapped my screen a few times to my favorites
and hit his smiling face with my thumb.

Then I really "woke up"
and realized he was not there,
and would not be answering.
and that it was in fact, a dream.
And I would be lying if I said it wasn't sad!

As much as I love Cam dreams.
some nights I could do without the vivid reminder.

Oh Mr. Sandman,
Please only bring me good dreams tonight :]

Good Life.

Lovvve this song & Video! It really just says it all doesn't it?

Six.Whole.Months

Thasss right Ladies N' Gents..
6 whole months.
Now I know I make a big deal about almost every month.
but really, 6 months is a Big flippin deal.
That is 25% completed!
I can hardly believe it myself.
Some people are saying...
"That's it?! Your poor thing"
Some people are saying..
"Already!?"
I am saying,
"holy guacamolie 6 months already?! I need more time!!"
Seriously, quickest 6 months of my life.
All things considered of course.
Happy 6 Months C-man Rick!

I just realized, that I am wearing the same scarf I was wearing October 6th.
And not even on purpose!
Aww yeah.

"I'm going to Die! ...I'm going to throw up, and then I'm gonna Die!"

First off.
If you know what movie that is from.
We can be friends forever.
If not...
That is terribly unfortunate.
Movvving on.

Today I started a little gym Called:
CROSSFIT
More acurately...
Hell.
I consider myself in pretty dern good shape.
I can run a long distance and be just fine.
Do an hour long "Road Rage" Spin class.
Easssy peasy.

I have never felt like I was going to Die more in my entired life.
I was 99% sure I was going to kick the bucket right there.
Six more Pull-ups to do and I casually said to the trainer,
"I think I'm going to pass out"
Apparently they take that business very serious.
Next thing I know I was outside sitting on the curb.
Wishing I could muster enough strength to crawl out into the street and let the nearest bus run over me.
But no, you don't get out of hell that easy.
I was reassured that "everyones first day is like this"
as I tried to figure out if I was having a heart attack, going to throw up, or dying.
I decided if anything, it would probably be all of the above; all at once.

For some reason I've decided to go back.
Thursday morning I will once again ask the Devil to kick my booty into shape.
Apparently it needs it.
Once every muscle in my body stops screaming at me,
and refusing to function properly.
I will let you know how it's going.

Thank You.

I am grateful for the good days!
The sunny, warm, blast your music in your car
good days.
The productive, busy,
good friends, good teachers,
good hair days.
The days you despretaly need after
a few bad ones.

I'm grateful for the bad days.
That make the good days
Soooo Good.

Happy Monday Everyone!
That handsome boy in the blue?
I miss him really a lot.
That pretty ocean/beach in the background?
I want that.
Prefereably, with the handsome boy in the blue.
But if I had to choose just one.

I'd choose the handsome boy in the blue :]
kthanksgoodnight!

Book Worm.

I AM SICK OF NOT READING.

I'm sick of reading a text book.
or any other form of "required text"
I'm sick of reading computer screens.
and test/quiz material.

I want a good book to read.
and quite frankly, I want it now. :]
I don't know why I haven't been reading much lately.
Probably because I finished twilight..
Hunger games...
City of Bones series...
and now I am just at a loss.

I want that book that is so good you stay up till the wee hours
just obsessing over.
Or the ones you literally cannot put down.
Just a good book.
Any suggestions?

"That's just West-Nile waiting to happen..."

There are few things I hate about spring/summer. It's hard to find things to complain about when there is no school (Unless your sort of a fool and decide to take summer semester....) no cold hair causing my body hair to grow at an abnormal rate, no layers and layers, and for some reason you just feel prettier in the summer. Am I right? You've got a nice tan going, and it's easier to get ready; throw on some shorts, sandles and a T and your good to go. There are two things however... that really just get the best of me. And no, It is not the 100+ degree weather that Stg often experiences.

  1. Allergies: For real? Is it necissary for me to sneeze a minimum of 4 times every time I step outside? How about the watery eyes, runny nose, scratchy throat...and my personal favorite ITCHY EYEBALLS. If you know me at all, you know right around this time I about pop my eyeballs right out of socket by itching them so furiously. Yep, definately could do without the allergies.
  2. Blood-sucking pests: Thasss right, you know exactly what I am refering to don't you? I was just seconds ago reminded of my hatered towards mosquitoes. Or "Bats" as my mom likes to call them. I don't know why I am so frightened of them, probably due to the time that I was in Mesa visiting Cole and Jeff, and they were everywhere. And well, it was just "West-Nile waiting to happen" There is only one thing I hate more then the actual mosquitoe itself, and that is killing the little bugger. I literally just begged my parents to get out of bed and kill this thing for me. No go. So I was left to fend for myself and commit murder. It was terrible. Can't wait until I have a big hunky man to do that for me one day!

The Pub.

My dear friends.
If you have not been to The Pastry Pub In Cedar.
You need to make it happen.
Today, Trinity* Decided to make a 45 minute trip from home.
Just to endulge in the goodness of the Pub.
And it was not dissapointing.
Yummy Pastries.
Yummy food.
Good friends.
And good ol' trinity conversation.
It was a good Reunion.
Sure do miss spending almost every waking moment with those girls!

Please don't mind the extreme height difference.
Me being 5'9 ...Them being 4'9. Awesome.

*Trinity- In High School, our senior year we were the three captains on the team. So clearly we had to establish superiority, thus..."Trinity/Trifecta" was born.

March Recap

I can't tell if this month fleww by, or took forever to decide to be over. But in any case, it has ended, and it is now April! This month had lots of things going on! (As you can obviously see by my jam packed Calander) ;] here are a few of the highlights:
  • A good friend that I work with Krystal got Marrrrrriied! Could not be happier for Jon and Her. They make such a great couple and are so deserving of one another. I can't believe it has come and gone. I remember months ago when they had just decided to get married. Man, time flies!
  • I finally got my little car fixed! AND registered. That's right peeps, my car has been past due since October. And I did not get pulled over for expired plates once! I even got in a accident and the police officer didn't cite me for it! Aww yeah. Anywhoo.. my car is now fixed and running well.
  • I got big into Zumba this month with Danielle, seriously I did it almost every night. It was so fun and a great workout! I really need to get back into that.
  • I got to take a little roadtrip down to Las Vegas with Danielle to visit Don and Peggy for a day/night and it was the best! Sooo good to see them again! We had so much fun shopping around, eating, and they treated us to see the Broadway show "Jersey Boys" so good! Also, I drove! My very first time driving anywhere bigger than St. George! Terrifying...but hey, I'm still alive.
  • Tay and Dar came down for a little fun filled weekend. Filled with food, "Just Dance" and lots o' laughing. Sure is nice to have family only a few hours away.
  • Cameron hit his 5 month mark! Doing soo good. Proud of that boy!
  • Spring break!! Stayed in good ol' Stg. And worked a 40+ hour week... but it was nice nonetheless :]
  • Peggy got brain surgery! A quick decision by her doctor and 20 staples later... she is doing great!
  • Kenz was born in this month. And of course her day was celebrated.
  • Lady GAGA came to Las Vegas! Katelyn and I had planned to go, but unfortunately we were a tad too late purchasing our tickets.. booo..
  • Baby Addison was blessed! We made a quick trip up to SLC to spend time with family and all be together for a special occasion.
March, thank you for being good to me! And thank you even more for the warm weather you brought! I will miss you. April, show me what you got!
